Hey, I’m Kelsey- you can call me Kels. I’m still a highschool student taking classes at IUP as part of the dual enrollment program at my school. Its kind of an escape for me- i’m so sick of high school, and i have the worst documented case of senioritis ever. My two best friends and boyfriend are alreay in college and i feel a little left behind, but oh well i’ll deal.

My passion is dancing, i’ve been doing it for twelve years now. I take tap, jazz, lyrical and modern lessons at a local studio. One of the reasons i love it so much is because of my dance teacher. She’s such an inspiration, and we always have a great time. I was the captain of the I-Ette squad earlier this year, we’re kinda like a pom squad i guess minus the poms. We dance during the halftime show at football games with the band. Sometimes we even twirl flags. During the winter sports season i’m on the IHS Dance Team. We dance at the basketball games and we’re known for our kick-lines.

One of my other favorite things is one of my classes at school. Its a tv and video production class called iatv. We make commercials, psa’s, instrutional videos, and i just finished a documentary that took just about forever. My favorite part though is being an anchor on the morning news, that is broadcast live throughout the school.

Next year I plan on going to college at either Pitt or Duquense. I’ll probably major in Communications- either advertising, public relations, or broadcasting.
